Eligibility Criteria
Technician Grade I (Signal)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in science (Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/IT/Instrumentation) OR
- B.Sc. Degree with a combination of any sub-stream of the basic streams mentioned above OR
- Three-Year Diploma in Engineering in any of the above streams OR
- Degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E) in any of the above streams.
- Age Limit: 18 to 36 years (as on 01.07.2024).
Technician Grade III
These posts include positions in various trades, each requiring Matriculation/SSLC (10th) + ITI or Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades from recognized NCVT/SCVT institutions.

- Technician Grade III (Blacksmith): ITI in Forger and Heat Treater, Foundryman, Pattern Maker, Moulder (Refractory).

- Technician Grade III (Diesel – Electrical): ITI in Electrician/ Mechanic Auto Electrical/ Electronics/ Wireman/ Electronics Mechanic/ Power Electronics Mechanic.
- Technician Grade III (Diesel – Mechanical): ITI in Fitter/ Mechanic Diesel/ Mechanic Heavy Vehicles/ Mechanic Automobile/ Welder/ Painter.

Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years

Pay Scale
- Technician Grade I (Signal): Pay Level 5 – ₹29,200/- per month (plus allowances).
- Technician Grade III: Pay Level 2 – ₹19,900/- per month (plus allowances).
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT):
- A single-stage examination for qualifying candidates.
- The syllabus typically includes subjects like General Awareness, Mathematics, General Science, and Reasoning.
- Document Verification (DV):
- Candidates who qualify the CBT are called for document verification to ensure eligibility and authenticity of provided information.
- Medical Examination (ME):
