The Chennai City Urban Health Mission has announced the recruitment of various positions such as Support Staff, Staff Nurses, Medical Officers, and MPHW/ Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade-II) – Male. • Medical Officer: 30 Posts

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

1. Medical Officer:

• MBBS Degree from a recognized institution.

1. Staff Nurse:

• Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. (Nursing) from a recognized institution.

1. MPHW/ Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade-II) – Male:

• Must have passed 12th Class with Biology or Botany and Zoology.
• Must have passed SSLC with Tamil language as a subject.
• Must possess two years of training for Multipurpose Health Worker (MPHW) (Male Candidates) / Health Inspector / Sanitary Inspector Course.

1. Support Staff:

• Must have passed the 8th Standard.

Age Limit:

1. Medical Officer: Below 40 Years
2. Staff Nurse: Below 50 Years
3. MPHW/ Multi-Purpose Health Worker (Health Inspector Grade-II) – Male: Below 50 Years
4. Support Staff: Below 50 Years

Salary Details:

• Salary: Rs. 50,000/- Per Month for all the above positions.

Selection Process:

The selection process for the Chennai Corporation recruitment will be based on:

1. Short Listing: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their educational qualifications and relevant experience.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
