Eligibility Criteria for Bharathiar University Guest Faculty 2024

Educational Qualification:

1. Master’s Degree:

• Candidates must have a master’s degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is applicable) in relevant subjects from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.

1. NET/SLET/SET:

• Candidates who have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by the UGC, are desirable.

1. Ph.D. Degree Holders:

• Candidates with a Ph.D. degree awarded in accordance with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009 are exempted from the requirement of NET/SLET/SET.

1. Exemption for Certain Disciplines:

• NET/SLET/SET is not required for certain disciplines where these accredited tests are not conducted.

Salary Details

• Guest Faculties: ₹25,000/- per month
